Welcome to VShieldsoft. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website, software products, and remote technical support services. By purchasing a VShieldsoft product or utilizing our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Company Information & Scope

VShieldsoft is a registered business operating out of Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. While we are a Canadian entity, our products and services are sold and delivered primarily on a US basis to customers within the United States.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you (“Client,” “User,” or “Customer”) and VShieldsoft regarding your access to and use of our software (including but not limited to Cyber Privacy Suite, Identity Theft Preventer, PC Cleaning Utility, Shield Antivirus, and VPN) and our remote support services.

2. Products & License Grant

Upon full payment of the applicable one-time fee, VShieldsoft grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the software for your personal, non-commercial use.

  • Lifetime Access: “Lifetime” refers to the useful life of the software version purchased or the lifespan of the device on which it is installed, as applicable per product specifications.
  • Updates: We may provide updates to ensure compatibility and security. These terms apply to all such updates.

3. VIP Remote Setup Service (Important)

A distinct feature of VShieldsoft is our “VIP Remote Setup Session,” where a certified technician connects to your computer remotely to install and optimize the software.

By accepting these terms and initiating a remote session, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are authorizing VShieldsoft technicians to access and control your computer remotely.
  • You authorize our technicians to download, install, and configure the purchased software and remove detected threats or “digital junk.”
  • Data Backup: It is your sole responsibility to maintain a backup of your data. VShieldsoft is not liable for any data loss or corruption that may occur during the optimization process, although we take every precaution to ensure safety.
  • You may disconnect the remote session at any time if you feel uncomfortable.

4. Billing, Payments & No-Subscription Policy

VShieldsoft operates on a transparent One-Time Purchase model.

  • No Subscriptions: You will be charged a single upfront fee for the product. There are no recurring monthly charges, automatic renewals, or hidden subscription fees associated with the purchase of the specific product version listed on your receipt.
  • Currency: All prices are listed and processed in US Dollars (USD).
  • Taxes: You are responsible for any applicable sales taxes based on your location.

5. Refund Policy

We offer a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee on all products. If you are unsatisfied with the software or the remote service, you may request a full refund within 30 days of the purchase date.

Refunds are generally processed to the original method of payment. Please refer to our dedicated Refund and Returns Policy for detailed instructions on how to initiate a return.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree NOT to:

  • Use our products for any illegal purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of our software.
  • Share your license key with third parties or install the software on more devices than the license permits.
  • Interfere with the security-related features of the software.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, software, graphics, and trademarks associated with VShieldsoft are the exclusive property of VShieldsoft. Your purchase grants you a license to use the software, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, VShieldsoft shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the service;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the service;
  • Any content obtained from the service.

In no event shall VShieldsoft’s aggregate liability exceed the amount you paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the federal or provincial courts located in Kitchener or Toronto, Ontario.
